Health Care in my country

In my country, Italy, the health care is free for everybody. For example, the majority of citizens don't pay for  health insurance, but some people prefer to do so.
Usually, when we arrive at the hospital , we also pay a "symbolic fee" about U$ 30/40 for our pocket.
But, on the other hand, the medicines are very expensive, and you must have a prescription if you want to buy some medicines, and you pay for your pocket.
The dental service is not free in Italy, we usually go to a private dental clinic and it's very expensive.
If I could change one thing, I would reduce the price of the medicines.

  2. In the United States, health insurance policies generally cover the cost of some or most medicine, but there is usually a co-payment required, depending on the medication. For the most common medications, there are often generic brands which can be purchased for a small co-payment, but others can cost $100 or more. For those who have no insurance coverage, prescription medication is usually not affordable.
