Pollution Crisis is a major problem all around the world. It has adversely affected the lives of millions of people and it is responsible for 40% of death worldwide . Currently, the pollution generated by human activities presents the most serious problem. There are three 3 types of pollution: air pollution, water pollution and land pollution. One of the major causes of pollution crisis is the deforestation, which has caused a rise in the pollution levels and distortion of natural order.Soil pollution is the environment problem in my country .Dumping of wastes in many areas is a major cause of Soil Pollution. Also, when soil in and near production areas becomes dirty due to disposal of waste material, such land cannot be used for agricultural operations. This is happening in Naples, in the South of Italy, where there is “waste emergency”. In this period the government is not able to control this situation, and the citizens are often on strike because they don’t want to be open landfill near their houses and additional the authorities responsible for checks, often with the consent of local governments, have been very superficial, closing "one eye" (and sometimes both) on the irregularities committed by the industries in the disposal of waste and emissions of toxic substances resulting from production processes.
But, finding the balance is not easy in any situation and with the advent of "globalization" becomes increasingly difficult. We need a common strategy for all countries of the world. Various countries have set standards in legislation in the form of concentration levels that are believed to be low enough to protect public health. Source emission standards are also specified to limit the discharge of pollutants into the air, so that air-quality standards will be achieved. However, the nature of the problem requires the implementation of international environmental treaties and recent international summits on the subject as the last held in Kyoto proved a failure due to resistance, especially the large economic powers U.S.
"We need a common strategy for all countries of the world. "YES! It's time for all people on the earth to care for our common family-The Blue Planet (now isn't blue) !- To protect the earth, everybody has the responsibility!

Teresa,
ReplyDelete40% of deaths worldwide are caused by pollution? That's an amazing statistic that I have never heard before! I would imagine that the majority of the deaths must be due to a lack of clean water. Do you remember your source for the statistic? I know in the United States the rates of asthma have increased dramatically, but I do not know about the mortality rate from this.
